WHERE SHOULD A TROUBLED PERSON GO FOR HELP?
The Scriptures tells us where help can be found (2 Tim. 3:16-17, All Scripture is Godbreathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.)

God’s word (the Bible) has the answer for every aspect of your soul’s struggle (Psalm 19: 7-8, The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. )

In God we find all that we need for life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3, His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.)

Our Counseling Philosophy
Since the word of God is sufficient and God is able to do what He has promised, counseling at AEBC is based solely on biblical principles.  The goal of counseling at AEBC is to help people to rely on God for their solutions and not become dependent on the counselor. Our counseling method has three distinctive teachings:

1 The ideas and directions given in our sessions are strictly those principles given in the Bible

2 Counseling is treated as part of the spiritual growth of the person, therefore, it is done with concern to move the person forward in his spiritual growth

3 The goal of the counseling is to change behaviors in the counselee’s life that fail to meet the biblical requirements. The final goal is to make the person more like Christ.
